Pittsburgh International Race Complex, the racing facility located in Wampum, Pennsylvania, that previously announced it is closing at the end of the year, is hosting its first public auction of select facility contents next month.

The auction, hosted by KIKO Auctioneers, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 2, at 5:00 p.m. EST, and conclude on Tuesday, December 9, at 5:00 p.m. EST. The facility will host a preview date on Saturday, December 6, from 12:00 p.m. EST to 3:00 p.m. EST.

The first auction features a broad range of equipment and assets connected to the daily operation of the complex. Absolute auction, all sales to the highest bidder, online only. Items include, but are not limited to, maintenance tools and facility equipment, vehicles, track support items and structures, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and miscellaneous operational assets.

This auction marks the beginning of the process to liquidate selected contents of the property as part of the facility’s transition.
